Post your phone number. If you openly post a phone number expect to get phone calls. Some you may want, others you may not. Don't want your name and phone number out there? No problem. Users are always protected by our internal contact system and your coorespondence is between you and the seller, or you and the buyer.

We take seriously our responsibility to children and therefore our policy is ABSOLUTELY NO USERS ARE ALLOWED UNDER 18 YEAR OF AGE. Why is that? Auctions are a legally binding contract and you must be 18 to enter in to a legally binding contract. Furthermore, many of the items for sale on this site are firearms and are restricted sale items to those over 18 or 21 years old depending on what state you are in and what item it is. (long guns under federal law require you to be 18, handguns 21, some states have raised those ages). Parents, please take your kids shooting with you and teach them responsible firearms handling. Don't let them run loose on this site or the internet in general for that matter.

How We Collect Information

Domain Name Recognition
Our web servers automatically recognizes a visitor's domain name, however, they do not recognize a visitor's e-mail. In other words, if you found us through a search on Google, our server recognizes that a visitor was sent by Google, but not that it is any particular visitor. This is true for nearly all websites the world over, it's how a system generates "hits" statistics which everyone is so proud of.

Accounting: As this is a commercial auction system there is an accounting package and for obvious reasons (i.e. to provide you a receipt) we will put your name and our name on invoices, receipts, and bills which are passcode protected and available only for your viewing, and ours for the purposes of accounting.
Auctions: Visitors to this and many of our sites can participate in on-line auctions. We only collect information which is required for participation in the auction and delivery of merchandise to auction winners. All personally indentifiable information submitted is used only for the purpose of the auction. If you choose to utilize our internal contact system, your personal information is held private while still allowing you to converse back and forth with buyers and sellers in a safe and private manner. If you choose to post your phone number, email address, address, name, or any other identifying information in your ad you do so at your own risk. Common problems with engaging in publicly posting this information rather than using the internal contact system is unwanted phone calls, junk mail, spam email and even possibly becoming the target of scam artists.
Other Features: There may be other features available on our web sites which may require some personally identifiable information to use the feature. We only use the personally identifiable information to provide the feature and delete it within a reasonable period of time after the information is no longer necessary. An example of this would be a postal mailing to sellers showing their year to date sales.

Business Partners

We have some business partners with whom we may operate some of our pages and share information. For example, if you sign up for our webhosting service through MachineGun.net there is a seperate group of support personnel who will service your website needs and they will need your information to set up your account.
